In the first book, Boobela discovers quite by accident she has magic within her. The old gardener has just helped her find a special treat for Worm. She can see he has difficulty moving. She wishes she could help. All of a sudden, her hands get hot and presto! the gardener is able to move more freely. Later, she learns that her Gran had a similar experience when she was Boobela's age.
"Magic isn't spells and abra cadabra and hocus pocus," Gran tells her. "Magic is in your heart and in your mind." Boobela learns she is "at the start of a long journey." In each book, her Gran will teach her something new that will enable her to develop her special magic.
I believe every child has some special magic in them. Why not try out what Boobela is learning?
In this section, we'll have instructions and links to resources on the web that will help you learn along with Boobela. We'll add a new page every time another book comes out.
